visitors
Last week we had Pops stay for a couple of days. He didn't get to see Luke that much because Luke was sleeping most of the time. Cici stopped by on Saturday for a quick hello and some good eats. She had to get back to Avalon for the house tour. Over the weekend I tried to make a picture from pottery barn that was sold out. Jenna wanted me to try to make it so I went and got some paint and a canvas and gave it my best. Also, like always, we all watched football on Sunday. Even June joined us for awhile.

OKTOBERFEST!!!!!!!
When Jenna got home from shopping with her girls, we decided that we could not waste such a beautiful day. So we went to the annual Oktoberfest in Newark. It was really cool. Since it is a small town event, people that live around the area open their backyards so you can park in them. Now, understand that Newark has a lot of diversity. So the house we parked at was not exactly a classy place. Let's just say he had a fire pit in the backyard made of cinder blocks. Anyway, it was a neat place. Good food, beer, and music. Luke really did not like the loud music. So we did not stay that long. But it was worth the visit.
Check out the dudes backyard. Nice fire pit. Hangen with my Boy
Jenna and her West Chester friends went to shop for baby clothes today, so it was just me and the boy. And of course Prinny, Rubey, and Jr. We had a great day. We went on a walk, watched the MTV awards, College Football, and just laid around the house. IT WAS GREAT. Lukey did manage to Puke on two outfits. But it was OK, cause Mommy always has backups.
Lukes First Happy Hour
Well, we had to introduce Lukey to a Friday Teacher Happy Hour. So last night Jenna, Luke, myself, and some other teacher friends went to a Mexican Restaurant to vent about our students. He had a blast, so did everybody else. Afterwards, we went back to the Gavin's house to hang out for one of the last times. They just recently sold their house, and are moving out of the castle. This makes us the last couple remaining in the "Castle".

Sunday Football, pulled pork and A CRUISE SHIP!
We all had a great day today. Jenna had to go to a bridal shower, so it was just me and the boy watching the Eagles pound on the Panthers. After that we had a walk, and then ate dinner out on the porch. Jenna got out the crockpot and roasted a big piece of meat all day. And to our suprise we saw a cruise ship towards the end of dinner. Great day, wouldn't want anything else. O yeah, and the flag guy in town had one of our favorite flags. You might not know it if you did not see the John Adams special on HBO, or you don't know anything about history.

Costco Best Buy and the McHales
Today was not a beach day so the McHales went to the lighthouse and Jenna, Maureen, Lukey, and I went to Costco to buy lobsters for Maureen's birthday dinner. But Luke and I dropped off the girls and we had some man time at Best Buy. Luke picked out a tv that we want. He has very good taste. When we got home Erin and the family took Lukey on a walk via baby bjorn.
