Another ground hog captured

This morning we found another ground hog in a cage outside on Elly's property.  He looked really old and FAT!!  This is number three for the collection.  The guy who gets these guys is really nice.  He takes them "AWAY" and places them somewhere else around New Castle.  I have started to feel kinda bad for these guys because they have been here for so long.  I wonder if the latest catch is a dad or a mom, or a brother or sister.  but then they have been, like my momma says "eating the best flowers and produce for years".  So I guess their time is up.  Sorry guys.  Also a bird flew into the porch today and I spent about 15 minutes trying to get it out.

Tuesday Morning

I do have to agree with Anne Mathay that A.C. makes you a zombie.  You don't feel like doing anything, but sitting around and eating.  So I made myself get up today and took a walk with the boy and Rubey.  We went early hoping to miss the humidity.  The heat index was 67% at 7:45 and the humidity was about the same.  The weather wasn't really that bad.  We got home and Jenna gave Luke a bath to cool down.  He seemed to enjoy the morning.  Check out another great smile I received from my boy.  Enjoy the pics

Yet another sever thunderstorm warning

Last night we experienced another crazy storm.  The lightening was really cool.  I went out to take pictures, and Jenna was yelling at me because the lighting was so close.  I probably looked like a total idiot with my phone held high in the air while lightening was just over my head.  But it was worth it, I got a great lightning pic.  The first one is the quiet before the storm, second is the lightening, and the last one is the rainbow after the storm.

Another family fun outing.

Went to Giant again.  Lukey likes it because they really crank up the ac.  I guess he is not used to that because our house is usually in the high 70's.  As you can see Luke is finally smiling when he sees us.  Not all the time, but when he does it really makes our day.  We sit in front of him for way too long, making really stupid sounds and faces trying to get one of these smile.  But like I said, when he cracks one of these it is the best thing on earth.  Thanks Lukey!

more pics of the Mchale, Faulkner, Duncan dinner

Sorry about the pics, I am still trying to get better images with the iphone.

Mchale's House

We went over to Jenna's sisters house in Chester Springs PA.  It is great to visit because they have a nice pool and a lot of land to run and play around.  Ernie, Rosie, Maureen, Erin, Big Will, Little Will, Maggie, Jenna, Lukey, and myself were all there to hang out and eat a great dinner.

Morning Walk

Luke, Ruby, and I went on our morning walk today.  But something was different.  There was arrows spray painted on the ground everywhere, and runners with numbers on their chests.  I soon realized that we were in the path of the 10k run today.  We started to head back home because I think we were a little in the way.  We decided to sit on the front step and watch all the runners.  We saw Cochrans son and his girlfriend running, and even Mr. Miller.  Prinny decided to join in the fun, and hang out with Lukey in the backyard for awhile.

Ground Hog Captured!!!!!!!

One of the groundhogs in the backyard, which has been living in the back of the strand for ever, was caught by a trap yesterday.  It has been doing a lot of damage to Elly and Bonnies' Garden.  He was trapped and sent away, but another one has started digging holes again.  Elly is pissed.

Just Hangen Out

Here are some pictures of us just lying around.  Also, Yesterday Jenna went to breakfast with her girls.  She took Lukey with her, so she had to give him a quick bath before she left.  I guess that means it was Spikey Friday.  CiCi and Bud, you know what I mean by that.

Mathay's House

We went to Anne and Noah's house a few days ago to eat some really good food, and learn how to fit braces.  Luke was not very good and cried the entire time.  We got there at 700 and Jenna and I believe that anytime past 7 is to late.  We talked for a little, Anne held Lukey, all the dogs got to say hello, we ate, and then Anne showed me how to put on braces.  It was a great night, thanks guys.

Hanging on the porch

Well, the family is back from the beach and we are already missing the sand, water, and cool breezes of Avalon and LBI.  So we tried to substitute the porch for the beach.  It is not the same as the beach, but the views from the porch are an equal value.  Luke seems to like the porch very much, it must be the breeze.
