Luke had a great time with decorating his first tree. It was a a little bit to big, so I had to cut off a couple of inches from the top. But it turned out really well.

Reading T. Market
The Duncan family is back in the blog world. Jenna, Luke and myself were laying in bed getting ready to start our day, when I asked Jenna if she ever went to the Reading Market in Philly. She said no. I told her we had to go. So, two hours later, the three of us were in the car heading to Philadelphia. It was Lukey's first visit to Philly. He loved all the bright colors and people coming up and talking to him. Jenna trucked him around in the baby Bjorn so he could get to see everything. Usually Luke naps when we put him in the Bjorn but today he was wide awake taking it all in. We had lots of good food and looked at all the expensive cheeses and olives. I spent 10 bucks on cookies. Enjoy the pics.

visitors
Last week we had Pops stay for a couple of days. He didn't get to see Luke that much because Luke was sleeping most of the time. Cici stopped by on Saturday for a quick hello and some good eats. She had to get back to Avalon for the house tour. Over the weekend I tried to make a picture from pottery barn that was sold out. Jenna wanted me to try to make it so I went and got some paint and a canvas and gave it my best. Also, like always, we all watched football on Sunday. Even June joined us for awhile.

OKTOBERFEST!!!!!!!
When Jenna got home from shopping with her girls, we decided that we could not waste such a beautiful day. So we went to the annual Oktoberfest in Newark. It was really cool. Since it is a small town event, people that live around the area open their backyards so you can park in them. Now, understand that Newark has a lot of diversity. So the house we parked at was not exactly a classy place. Let's just say he had a fire pit in the backyard made of cinder blocks. Anyway, it was a neat place. Good food, beer, and music. Luke really did not like the loud music. So we did not stay that long. But it was worth the visit.
Hangen with my Boy
Jenna and her West Chester friends went to shop for baby clothes today, so it was just me and the boy. And of course Prinny, Rubey, and Jr. We had a great day. We went on a walk, watched the MTV awards, College Football, and just laid around the house. IT WAS GREAT. Lukey did manage to Puke on two outfits. But it was OK, cause Mommy always has backups.
Lukes First Happy Hour
Well, we had to introduce Lukey to a Friday Teacher Happy Hour. So last night Jenna, Luke, myself, and some other teacher friends went to a Mexican Restaurant to vent about our students. He had a blast, so did everybody else. Afterwards, we went back to the Gavin's house to hang out for one of the last times. They just recently sold their house, and are moving out of the castle. This makes us the last couple remaining in the "Castle".
